Taking place at the elegant and exhilarating location of Buckmore Park, the 2017 ABkC ‘0’ Plate Festival kicked off on the 29th & 30th of April. A massive date in the karting calendar, the winner is famously bestowed with the coveted ‘0 plate’, which will then adorn their vehicle for the rest of the season.
A significant badge of honour in the karting circuit, the winners of this year’s event were Taylor Barnard (IAME Class) and Lucas Ellingham (Honda Class), who competed in front of a bustling audience before being treated to a driver’s parade in an Audi convertible, provided by the circuit’s sponsors at Bexley Audi.
Supporting Buckmore Park for over 10 years, Bexley Audi are proud to be part of the lifeblood of one of the UK’s key motorsport hotspots. Often frequented by young driving talent, F1 World Champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button both put their foot on the accelerator of their careers from within Buckmore, with the circuit continuing to support budding racetrack masters.
