The new Jaguar E-PACE has been revealed, and it’s already smashing both records and perceptions.
On its opening night, the highly-anticipated Jaguar E-PACE decided to set a much unexpected precedent; a Guinness World Record title for the Furthest Barrel Roll in a Production Vehicle.
The breath-taking feat stunned viewers during its online reveal, with Jaguar’s ‘Art of Performance’ philosophy being put truly on a pedestal; the daring personality of the E-PACE has been laid on thick, while still being elegant enough to be unmistakably Jaguar. An athletic sports car with all the practicality of an SUV, the E-PACE is a vehicle engineered for the needs of high-punching millennials; dynamic and fun, but very much built for the real world, the E-PACE has a firm grip on all weather and surface conditions, with enviable technology to push the vehicle directly into the eye line of those looking for a truly connected car. 4G Wi-Fi and a supersize 10-inch touchscreen are all sold as standard, with up to eight devices able to stream their own content, tied together by the formidable Touch Pro Infotainment system.
Configurable Dynamics allow for personalised throttle, steering and transmission settings, especially for those who like their driving style to be ‘just so’. In addition, the E-PACE is the first Jaguar to use nothing but the Ingenium range of petrol and diesel engines; ranging from the able 150PS diesel to the goosebump-inducing 300PS petrol, an E-PACE can thunder to from 0-60mph in a mere 6.9 seconds. With Jaguar often assumed the archetypal luxury vehicle for Generation X, the E-PACE is keen to flex its muscle for Generation Next.
Order books for the new E-PACE are now open, with prices starting at £28,500.
