JLR Special Vehicle Operations have taken the XE and pushed the envelope further than ever before; lightweight aluminium and carbon fibre exterior side panels allow the Project 8 to cut out any excess weight, while still offering unlimited command on the road; racing from 0 to 60mph in just 3.3 seconds, the Project 8 can hit a blistering 200mph. The most powerful Jaguar road car in its history, the Project 8 is a superior supercar which will also be available in an extremely limited run; just 300 units will be produced for worldwide release, in purely left-hand drive. The spine-tingling specification continues with a 600PS 5.0-litre supercharged engine; the first road-legal Jaguar to offer such an immense powertrain, the Project 8 is one of the most audacious game-changers of 2017.
Hand crafted at the new £20m SVO Technical Centre in Warwickshire, the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 will be priced from £149,995 in the UK, with its world debut to take place at the entirely suitable Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 30th of June.
