The new Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale takes everything that’s great about the Italian company's four-seater touring car and marries it with Maserati’s renowned racing technology.
The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale retains the absolutely jaw-dropping design of the rest of the GranTurismo range, such as the lightly-risen headlights, the flowing lines and the broad, narrow grille that sits between the exotically angled headlights. As this is an even-more-special edition, the MC Stradale also features some design touches inspired by Maserati's racing division, most notably the styling on the frontage, with the air intakes at the side swooping below the grille to connect in the middle, leaving the famous Trident badge seemingly suspended in mid-air. You get your choice of five alloy wheel designs, depending on whether you want 19 or 20-inch wheels.
Whist previous iterations of the GranTurismo MC Stradale removed the rear seats, the new model reinstates them, compensating for the weight gain with plenty of carbon fibre. As this is a Maserati designed for speed and distance, the interior of the GranTurismo MC Stradale is perfect blend of comfort and sports styling. Each of the vehicle's four occupants receives a well-padded sports seat, with the rear two separated by an arm rest. The seats are designed to support you through fast corners, and the integrated headrest also provides ample support. Simplicity in design has also clearly been a factor when crafting the dashboard, so buttons are well placed and easy to find.
The new Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale comes equipped with a 4.7-litre V8 engine that gives the car access to 442bhp at almost any time and will see you reach 60mph from 0 in under 4.5 seconds. In order to help control all that power, the GranTurismo MC Stradale features 20-inch tyres that have been specially designed by Pirelli, alongside six and four-piston callipers to ensure controlled and confident braking at all times.
A car designed for long journeys across countries and various speed limits, the GranTurismo MC Stradale has been equipped with plenty of safety features to guarantee protection in almost any situation. Maserati has included airbags in both the front of the car and its sides to enhance the safety of all four occupants, whilst the innovative Maserati Stability Programme comes as standard, giving you access to driving-improvement features such as ABS and ESP.
