Marshall do more than test the waters with a 12-hour swimathon for BEN

21st July 2017

Only four days to go until the Cambridge JLR Swimathon for BEN!

BEN is a not-for-profit organization which provides lifelong support to those in the UK automotive industry, as well as their families. Having kept thousands of people afloat with their wealth of charitable resources, Cambridge Jaguar Land Rover have decided to give a little something back – and it’s somewhat more than testing the waters.

The team were massively inspired by the Director of Marshall JLR, Adrian Wallington, alongside the Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, Jeremy Hicks, who are swimming the Channel for BEN in August as part of the Industry Leader Challenge.

As a result, Cambridge JLR set the date of Tuesday the 25th of July to take part in a 12-hour Swimathon. The team of colleagues will power through the water from 7am – 7pm, using facilities kindly provided by David Lloyd Cambridge.

Whether swimming the Channel or 12 hours in the pool, both challenges are a massive feat of both physical strength and willpower.
