The Kodiaq has been confirmed as the name of the new ŠKODA SUV. An elegant and robust model, it promises to be a popular choice as a SUV on UK roads.
With every ŠKODA model, comes a story, and the Kodiaq is no different. The name derives from the Kodiak bears, which live on the island of the same name off the southern coast of Alaska.
The exterior design of the ŠKODA VisionS concept reflects the brand’s new emotional appeal. All the edges and lines are clear, precise and sharp, while crystalline design elements accentuate the exterior.
The front is complimented with a wide grille and four tapered, high-set LED headlights characterise the face of the show car. Crystalline elements in the vertical struts in the grille and on the logo are ŠKODA’s tribute to the Czech art of crystal-glass design.
The rear has been sculpturally designed with a strong diffuser insert bordering the large exhaust pipes, giving the large SUV a visually powerful stance.
Standing 4.7m long, the Kodiaq will be a full seven-seater, providing ample space for the family.
A specification list of available engines and prices for the new Kodiaq is yet to be confirmed.
The ŠKODA Kodiaq will be arriving later this year and to keep up-to-date with the latest news, please speak with your local ŠKODA centre.
