Back in 1895, ŠKODA was born – but not quite as we know it. The first creation from company founders Klement and Laurin was in fact a bicycle called the ‘Slavia’; although ŠKODA moved on to produce some of the world’s favourite automobiles, the brand has never forgotten its heritage. To this day, ŠKODA are dedicated to helping cyclists enjoy their sport, all over the globe.
Staying true to these cherished roots, Marshall ŠKODA Oxford are proud to support cyclists as part of Bike Oxford; a day of marked rides covering 25, 50 and 80 miles of our picturesque city and countryside.
Entrants who take part in Bike Oxford will not only benefit from a timing chip to keep track of their progress, but a well-earned medal as a prize for completing each distance. All the routes are fully signposted, with a route map and GPS files to keep you on track; if you need a pit stop, you can even re-fuel with the best of local produce from the event’s feed stations. Full medical support will also be provided (although we hope you won’t need it!).
