Ahead of its debut in the all-new Insignia Grand Sport in 2017, Vauxhall have announced the next generation of their innovative IntelliLux LED headlights.
Vauxhall launched their original LED matrix in the 2015 Astra; the number of individual LEDs have since doubled in the latest release, while still fitting perfectly into sporty, ultra-slim headlamps.
With increased precision to cut through darkness, IntelliLux LED lights will make night-driving safer than ever, boasting a highly intelligent 32-light system. The increased number of individual LEDs create a smooth transition between lighting patterns, bringing greater convenience to variable driving conditions.
Although the LEDs have an intense glow, they are sophisticated enough to avoid the danger of projecting unwanted glare onto other drivers. In addition, driving into turns with the full beam engaged will activate the light to automatically rise above steering level, offering further visibility into blind spots. Each high-beam spotlight will reach up to 400 metres ahead, adding sublime extra perception even when the driving environment is poor.
