Sitting comfortably in the position of Kia’s first B-segment CUV, the all-new Stonic shares much of its DNA with the new Kia Rio, and thus will be built side-by-side in Korea.
Five variants are scheduled to be on offer upon release, with two trim lines and three engines to add plenty of variety. Ranging from a 98bhp 1.6-litre multi-point injection engine, to a 108bhp 1.6-litre CRDi turbodiesel, all models are perfectly complimented by a six-speed manual gearbox and ISG, Kia’s stop/start function to prevent excess fuel being wasted while idling.
Available to order now from £16,295 to £20,495, the Kia Stonic is pleasingly affordable, despite providing a wealth of fun and innovation. The first models are to hit the road on October the 23 rd 2017, marking an upsurge in the CUV market and the continued growth of the Kia brand.
