NEW RAV4 PLUG-IN

The RAV4 Plug-in is now available to order at Marshall Toyota.

The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid draws on more than 20 years of Toyota leadership in hybrid powertrain technology. More powerful, with lower CO2 emissions and increased fuel efficiency, it will sit at the pinnacle of the fifth-generation RAV4 range.

Efficient hybrid electric power

Equipped with Toyota's AWD-i intelligent all-wheel drive system, the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid combines the latest Toyota Hybrid technology with a highly efficient 2.5 litre petrol engine. With a full system output of 306 DIN hp, it powers the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid from 0 to 62mph in 6.0 seconds. Despite its impressive performance, the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid delivers low emissions thanks to a new high-capacity litium-ion battery and enhanced hybrid power control unit, it has a CO2 output of 22g/km.

Refined design

The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid announces its arrival with a number of unique exterior styling features that include: a darkened finish to the grille mesh, grille surround and headlight extensions. At the front, the new metallic finish on the lower bumper molding further emphasizes its width and planted stance. Moving to the rear, a metal-like finish below the rear screen together with a black finish on the under run conveys a sense of discreet power. Completing the strong visual package new 19-inch wheel designs combine contrasting bright machined and grey or black finishes.

True EV capabilities

With four driving modes, the driver has the ability to switch seamlessly from hybrid to pure EV driving allowing the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid to cover 46 miles on* electric power alone, beyond the 19-mile average European daily commuting distance. The pure EV system is also capable of powering RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid to speeds of up to 84 mph without any intervention from the internal combustion engine, even under full acceleration.

Interior comfort and styling, no compromise

Every detail of the interior has been considered, including new upholstery designs with a ribbed pattern, contrast red detailing and ventilated seats. Options include luxurious quilted black leather seats, panoramic roof and head-up display.

At its heart the nine-inch multimedia touchscreen display - the largest in any RAV4 model - delivers a clean, intuitive environment providing full control of the car's entertainment, information and connectivity functions.
