Welcome to the family. Say hello to the Caddy California. The all-new model is the most compact member of the California family, and combines comfort, convenience and connectivity. From the spacious foldout bed to the optional Digital Cockpit, versatile mini-kitchen, and al fresco dining set, the Caddy California is the perfect companion for adventures both big and small.
Fold out bed
Whether you want to read your book during the day or enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, the spacious foldable bed, which measures 1,980mm x 1,070mm and offers underneath storage, is the perfect place to relax. The disc-spring mattress offers total comfort, while the optional panoramic sunroof lets you experience a magical night underneath the stars.
Pull out mini kitchen
Open the Caddy California tailgate and you’ll find the versatile pull-out mini kitchen allowing you to cook with a view while still being protected from the elements. With two metres of standing space, the kitchen features a one-burner gas stove, and has plenty of storage, including a drawer for cutlery.
Create your atmosphere
The Caddy California lets you create the perfect mood with privacy blinds and adjustable lighting. For a cosy night in, close the blinds and dim the lights, or increase the brightness to finish reading as the sun goes down.
Take a seat
To create the ultimate alfresco dinner, the Caddy California is equipped with two foldable chairs and a foldaway table. Neatly stored in the vehicle when travelling, the table and chairs can be set up in moments and securely stowed away once the plates are cleared.
Interior
The Caddy California ensures all the family travel in comfort, with lumbar support on the front seats and adjustable, spacious rear seats. Other features include air conditioning, fold-down tables on the back of the front seats to keep passengers entertained, and ample storage under the front seats.
Digital displays
Stay connected with the Caddy California’s infotainment. Pick from the “Composition Colour” system with 8.25-inch touchscreen, or more advanced “Discover” navigation system with high-definition 10-inch display. This allows users to browse radio stations, take calls, enter destinations, access We Connect and streaming services, and control the air conditioning, all with the intuitive touchscreen or voice commands.
Engines
The Caddy California is available with three engine choices. These range from the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 114 PS power output available with both manual and DSG gearboxes, to the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, available in 102 PS manual or 122 PS DSG variants. All the engines meet the latest emissions standards for 2021 and are equipped with particle filters, while the TDI engines feature twin-dosing technology, which helps to reduce NOx emissions.
Driver assist systems
The Caddy California showcases some of our most advanced Driver Assist systems. Take Front Assist with City Emergency Braking, which operates when you are travelling between 3mph and 52mph, and automatically detects pedestrians, cyclists and other vehicles and warns you if you are at risk of a collision, and applies the brakes if you don’t react in time. With Cruise Control and speed limiter, as well as Active Lane Assist, equipped as standard, the Caddy California offers a safe and relaxing drive no matter the journey.
Digital features
Caddy California is available with We Connect2, offering customers a huge range of online features that can be operated through your phone, the infotainment system, or from home through a laptop.
Exterior
The newest member of the California family comes with athletic looks and a host of optional extras including a panoramic sunroof and LED headlights.
Panoramic sunroof
The optional panoramic sunroof bathes the interior with light and allows you to relax underneath the stars in the evening.
Detachable towbar
The tow bar, available as an option, can be attached and removed easily and without the need for any tools - perfect if you want to add a bike rack to your CaddyCalifornia.
LED headlights
The optional LED light signature gives the Caddy California an imposing presence on the road and gives the driver incredible visibility at night.

Blinds
The CaddyCalifornia is equipped with blinds to give you extra privacy and help you get a perfect night’s sleep.
Driver assist
The Caddy California provides plenty of extra support thanks to its wide range of Driver Assist systems.
Parking aids
This system monitors the road at right angles as you reverse out of a parking space, registering oncoming hazards and automatically applying the brakes if it detects an impending collision.
This system will brake automatically if it detects an imminent collision.
Driver assist systems
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop and Go function.
Available as an option, ACC with Stop and go, available for DSG transmission vehicles, keeps a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front. It also automatically stops and starts the engine in heavy traffic for more efficient driving.
The Caddy California can be specified with a Digital Cockpit to bring a wealth of connected features to your fingertips.
Digital cockpit
The high-resolution Digital Cockpit displays driver information with stunning clarity and can be paired with the10-inch "Discover" navigation system to give incredible functionality and access to media features such as App-Connect.
We connect
We Connect1 gives you access to a whole host of online features that can be operated through your phone, the infotainment system, or from home through a laptop. If you wish, you can upgrade to We Connect Plus to unlock even more features.

The optional “Discover” navigation system displays your route clearly on the 10-inch colour touchscreen and equips the Caddy California with six speakers. You can also use it to access We Connect1 and We Connect Plus features as well as free map updates. We Connect upgrades can be added on request.
Mobile phone interface
The Caddy California offers a mobile phone interface as an option, which includes an inductive charging pad for QI-enabled smartphones to be charged wirelessly, and the ability to connect via Bluetooth to use the external aerial as a signal boost in remote locations.
