The BMW R Nine T combines tradition and innovation; it is a modern take on a classic sports roadster.
Riding the BMW R Nine T will give you a feeling of freedom. Combined with a casual cool look, it harks back to the classic roadsters of the past.
Its design is a subdued one, until you get up close and look at the craftsmanship and detail that the Nine T harnesses. The materials used in production are of the highest quality and finish; it really is a truly unique bike.
The R Nine T offers ergonomics to suit its dynamic riding characteristics and restrained looks. The flatter steering head angle and balanced ergonomic triangle allow you to discover new places while sitting comfortably, so you get dynamic handling characteristics provided with increased rider comfort.
The R Nine T is available in Black Storm metallic paintwork and the bike gives you the option of customisation to suit your requirements. For example, there is enough room for six-inch rims and there is a removable rear frame, along with many other options.
A two-cylinder flat twin engine provides your Nine T with 110bhp and 119Nm of torque. There is also an integrated multifunction display which provides the rider with helpful information. The BMW R Nine T has a cast aluminium single swing arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever rear and upside-down telescopic front forks. Although the bike can attain a maximum speed of over 125mph, economy is good.
All R Nine Ts come with ABS as standard – focusing on your safety is as important as riding pleasure.
Standard features include a one-key system for the ignition, steering, filler cap and seat locks, multifunction display with on-board computer, tank bag for storage, pillion passenger foot pegs with a pillion frame which can be removed, and multiple settings on the brake and clutch lever.
