MINI Countryman

MINI Countryman at Marshall MINI

At our dealership in Bournemouth, Grimsby, Hampshire and Salisbury

Made for the roads – every road. MINI’s SUV, the Countryman, is its toughest model.

Robust stance

With its higher road clearance, sturdier suspension and protective features such as a rear skid plate and protective wheel arches, the Countryman has an assertive poise. MINI has revamped the headlights with a more angular take on the vintage oval lamps of its siblings, and it has roof bars for carrying larger items. Heated mirrors and water jets will quickly melt any ice and condensation.

Spacious cabin and First class interior

MINI’s largest model, the Countryman has plenty of space inside for you and your family to stretch out and relax. In the boot, there’s 350 litres to fill with luggage for a weekend outing or a week’s worth of shopping, plus extras. The rear bench slides forward, meaning you get even more belongings in the boot.

MINI states that the cabin feels like a first-class experience on a flight, and it certainly has a premium feel. Rounded features, from the door handles to the central speed dial and air vents give it an upmarket vintage feel and the strong cushions provide plenty of support and comfort.

A smooth experience

Wherever your drives take you, the Countryman feels smooth to drive thanks to the strong suspension. You can opt for Sport Suspension if you’re after a livelier experience. An all-wheel drive system, available with most trim levels, makes the car ultra-responsive in difficult weather conditions. Cornering Brake Control and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution helps the car to maintain a safe performance, and you can opt for bi-xenon headlights which will provide better visibility at night.

The entry level One gets a 98bhp engine, while the Cooper has a 122bhp unit and the Cooper S is fuelled by a 190bhp powertrain. This extra power in the Cooper S means it can reach 0-60mph in less than eight seconds, which is impressive for a robust car.

Stay contactable

You can stay in touch with loved ones while you’re on the road in the Countryman because it’s fitted with Bluetooth handsfree connectivity as standard. You can choose to add MINI Connected – a system that links up with your smart phone so you can use the apps through the circular screen in the centre of the dashboard. MINI Navigation is another optional addition.
