Fresh for model year 2017, the new Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli have been unleashed at the Paris Motor Show, with all-new customization options featuring Luxury and Sport packages.
Revamped from the inside out, the latest versions of the Quattroporte and Ghibli both feature a reworked dashboard, making room for an 8.4” multi-touch screen; this innovative infotainment system will seamlessly mirror your phone’s display via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with a rotary knob to easily navigate the menu.
Both the Quattroporte and Ghibli are laced with new technological features, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind Spot Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist and Automated Emergency Braking. With the ADAS package, drivers will also be treated to a Surround View Camera, displaying the car’s immediate environment on the central dash.
The Quattroporte has been adapted to incorporate an electric Air Shutter, reducing drag by 10%, as well as an Air Quality Sensor to improve comfort by reducing pollen and pollutants in the cabin. Increased top speeds are also available across the model range, peaking with the 3.8 V8 petrol version and a blistering 310 km/h.
The Ghibli is also enjoying a power upgrade from MY16; the 3.0 V6 petrol variant is up 20 hp to a gallant 350, with a raised top speed of 267 km/h. Awarded five stars by Euro NCAP, drivers and passengers can both be assured that performance and safety go hand-in-hand when behind the wheel of a Maserati.
