Following the update from the government, precautionary and temporary measures have been introduced to prevent the spread of the new COVID-19 Omicron variant and they will affect our business. This essentially means that all previous COVID controls at Marshall Motor Group are in place.

These changes take place effective Tuesday 30th November in all Marshall Motor Group businesses and include:

Also, in line with government advice:

• Anyone who is confirmed to have been in close contact with a positive case of the Omicron variant will be required to isolate for 10 days regardless of vaccination status and will be contacted by Track and Trace.

• Anyone returning to the country will be required to take a PCR test on or before day 2 and self-isolate until they have received a negative test result. These PCR tests can be purchased from private providers. Free NHS tests are not valid for this purpose.

Please continue to complete lateral flow testing twice weekly to prevent the spread and pick up on any asymptomatic cases, these can be ordered here > Rapid lateral flow coronavirus (COVID-19) tests - NHS (www.nhs.uk) and remember to get a PCR test if you have any symptoms.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE
19 JULY 2021 UPDATE FROM CHIEF EXECUTIVE, DAKSH GUPTA RELATING TO THE LATEST COVID-19 GUIDANCE

[19.07.21] From 19 July, people in England will see further restrictions start to lift as part of the government’s roadmap back to a more normal life.

The public have risen to the challenge of suppressing COVID-19: strictly following the law; staying at home when requested; getting tested when needed; isolating when required, and following the ‘hands, face, space’ and ‘letting fresh air in’ guidance. Plus, almost 30 million people in the UK have now had two vaccination jabs. A fantastic achievement.

As always, the safety of our customers, colleagues, suppliers and partners are at the heart of our operations and with this is in mind – all COVID safety measures, social distancing and protocols across all Marshall Motor Group businesses will REMAIN FULLY IN PLACE until further notice.

Our processes around contactless handovers, vehicle sanitisation, personal and vehicle protective equipment, timed appointments, signage and social distancing measures – will remain in place and will NOT be removed on Monday 19 July.

FACE COVERING
The wearing of a face covering for sales, aftersales and parts customers attending any of our Sales, Service and Bodyshop businesses is expected and recommended in our indoor places (as well as for our colleagues).

For over 111 years, we at Marshall have been putting our customers and our colleagues above all else and are very confident that the continuation of these measures within Marshall is the correct decision until a time we see appropriate to remove them.

And finally, and most importantly, look after yourselves and your loved ones.

Best wishes
