Reserve Online for £99 or Buy Online. Reserve the vehicle of your choice (for up to 48 hours) with a fully refundable reservation fee of £99. Arrange a time that suits you to come in to view/test drive the vehicle. Alternatively, you will be guided through the online purchase process, for which all finance application paperwork and activity can be completed from the comfort of your own home.

What Buy Online options are available?

Marshall has two convenient buy online options.

1. Reserve Online for £99 (This is fully refundable should you change your mind within the agreed 48 hour reservation period).

2. Apply and arrange a finance agreement.

The Reserve & Buy Online facility gives you the ability to take more control of your buying journey – and reserve a vehicle (for up to 48 hours) or fully buy online from the comfort of your own home.

Once you have found your ideal vehicle from one of 143 stores, you can reserve a vehicle for just £99 (This is fully refundable should you change your mind within the agreed 48 hour reservation period) or start your finance application online.

How secure is your online reservation and buy online process?

We use a secured verified payment provider which utilises encrypted software protecting your card payment details. Our payment provider, Stripe, has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. We do not store any of your card details.

How long is my vehicle reserved for?

After paying a Reservation Fee, You will receive an email from us that acknowledges receipt. Please note that this does not mean that Your reservation request has been accepted. All reservations are subject to acceptance by us, as we need to check that the Vehicle has not already been sold to or reserved by someone else (as well as being advertised for sale on our website, vehicles are also advertised for sale on third party websites and at our physical locations). We will confirm our acceptance of Your reservation request by sending You a confirmation email (the "Reservation Confirmation").

Effective from the time that we have sent You a Reservation Confirmation, the Vehicle will be reserved for 48 hours (please note that our dealerships are open 7 days a week, so this period includes weekends and public holidays that we are open) for You. We will be in contact with You to discuss the next steps required for You to view the Vehicle at the dealership it is located at and, if You decide to do so, to complete Your purchase of the Vehicle. If You do not engage in these discussions with us in good faith, then we reserve the right to refund the Reservation Fee to You and unreserve the Vehicle without any prior notice to You.

If, once we have sent You a Reservation Confirmation, You ask for the Vehicle to be moved to one of our different dealerships then a transportation cost may be payable by You. We will advise You of an such additional costs in writing and will require You to pay such costs before the Vehicle is moved.

Please discuss Your requirements directly with a member of our sales team. Any such transportation costs are payable in addition to the Reservation Fee and are non-refundable.

If we are unable to send You a Reservation Confirmation (for example, if the Vehicle is unavailable to view or has already been reserved by or sold to someone else) then we will fully refund the Reservation Fee to the same payment card that You used to pay it as soon as reasonably practicable and we will, where possible to do so, assist You to find an alternative vehicle.

You can request a refund of the Reservation Fee at any time by contacting a relevant member of our sales team. The Reservation Fee will be refunded in full to the same payment card that You used to pay it, usually within 5-10 Business Days. If You decide to purchase the Vehicle that You have reserved then the Vehicle will be sold at the price for which it was advertised at the point you reserved it and the
Reservation Fee will be deducted from the final price for the Vehicle.

Do I need to visit the physical store to finalise the online sales process?

No. All steps of the Buy Online transaction can be completed via an online finance application form. Once we receive the order we will process the application and of course keep you updated. Following the finance approval, arrangements will be made where you can drive away your new vehicle (Click & Collect) or arrange a home delivery.

Can I start a finance application online and finish it face-to-face 'in store' – or vice versa?

Yes. When you create a personal online account with Marshall Motor Group it will save your finance application in progress. This can then be completed face-to-face with a member of our sales team. Within your personal online account area you can access saved quotes, your part exchange and order details - where you remain in control of your Buy Online options.

Buy Online: Finance

If I wish to proceed to buying the vehicle - how do I get my finance settlement?

We would be happy to talk to you regarding any questions you have about financing your car, van, truck or bike purchase. One of our sales team can be contacted by email or simply give us a call.

Buy Online refund and cancellations

If you have placed a Buy Online order and wish to cancel or get a refund, you must contact us before the delivery date. If you have committed to a finance agreement, you must inform the finance company immediately of the cancellation in writing. You will be liable for any early termination fees. We do our best to avoid such fees, and only apply them if the finance provider charges such a fee.

Buy Online: Part Exchange

How do you work out the value of my part exchange vehicle?

Valuations are based on the market value of that particular car or van, age, desirability, mileage and its general condition as described by the Buy Online customer.

Honest vehicle condition descriptions from the online customer are essential as if any variation in condition, service history or mileage to that previously described (but allowing for additional mileage covered between the Agreement and delivery pro-rata to that already covered at the time of Agreement), we will adjust the price offered for the part exchange to take into account such variations and you will pay us any additional sum due as a result.

Can I use my part exchange as my deposit for my vehicle purchase?

Yes, you can use your part exchange as all or part of your deposit towards your car, van or bike purchase. However, if there is outstanding finance on your part exchange this will have to be settled by us as part of the transaction. Any amount left after settlement of your finance can be used towards your deposit. Please speak to a member of our sales team who will be able to assist you with this process.

All makes and models are taken in part exchange.

What happens if my part exchange is worth more than the vehicle I want to purchase?

If your vehicle is valued more than the vehicle you would like to purchase and there is no outstanding finance on it, we will happily give you back the difference. This would be paid to you promptly after taking delivery of your new vehicle.

Is the valuation you give me for my part exchange guaranteed?

Yes, assuming you have described your part exchange accurately, answered all the questions correctly and read our guidance regarding part exchange your value will be guaranteed.

Yes, you can remove your part exchange from your order at any time prior to your vehicle handover. You would then have to pay us the agreed value of the part exchange instead.

Can I part exchange two vehicles as part of my order?

Yes, if both the vehicles are owned by you, or you have the written permission of the owner to use the vehicle as part of your order. Our sales team will be able to help you in this scenario.
