A superbike engine, refined for a hyper roadster—the M R’s four-cylinder powerhouse, derived from the RR and featuring BMW ShiftCam technology, rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. With a redline of 14,600 rpm, this is our most powerful roadster yet. From 10,000 rpm onward, you'll feel an extra surge of torque and acceleration. The M R also boasts an enhanced gear ratio compared to the RR, with 47 teeth in the secondary drive (versus 46) and shorter ratios in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears than the S 1000 R—delivering optimal performance on winding country roads. Shift Assistant Pro ensures seamless upshifts and downshifts, while the deep, resonant growl of the titanium rear silencer makes a statement you won’t forget.
Precise feedback and razor-sharp handling—the M R’s chassis features standard DDC, fully adjustable suspension components, an adjustable steering damper, and a milled handlebar clamp. Optimized from the RR setup, it’s tailored to meet the demands of a high-performance roadster. The front wheel-oriented riding position enhances ergonomics, giving you full control as you lean into every turn.
