​Volvo S90 & V90 are awarded the top safety score by Euro NCAP​

Thanks to their ground-breaking City Safety system, Volvo are topping the tables for safety, yet again.

Volvo are the first car manufacturer to be awarded full points in Euro NCAP’s Autonomous Braking for Pedestrians (ABP) test, gilding both the S90 and V90 with an outstanding five-star rating overall.

The S90 saloon and V90 estate are the highest-scoring vehicles in the test for 2016, with Euro NCAP’s top three cars on record all being made by Volvo.

The runaway success of the S90 and V90 ABP assessment are testament to Volvo’s impeccable City Safety system, which identified potential hazards on the road and allows for timely braking.

The latest score underlines the Volvo Cars aspiration that nobody should be killed or seriously injured in a new Volvo vehicle by 2020.
