Volvo have announced their game-changing plan for a greener future, with every new vehicle launched from 2019 to be equipped with an electric motor.
Between 2019 and 2021, a new batch of five all-electric cars are set to be unveiled; backed by a range of petrol and diesel plug-in hybrid options on all models (as well as hybrid 48-volt choices), Volvo are set to become one of the most expansive electric car manufacturers in the world.
With changing legislation and broadening awareness sparking a change in preferences for many drivers, Volvo are the first traditional vehicle manufacturer to commit to an electric future with such gusto; in turn, this move is expected to put Volvo in an extremely favourable position within the rapidly growing EV market.
