BMW IconicSounds Electric.

​Discover the new sound of adventure with the latest BMW IconicSounds Electric, which is available as standard on the BMW iX3 model. Designed in collaboration with Hans Zimmer, it delivers various driving manoeuvres with immediate acoustic feedback, both internally for passengers and externally for pedestrians. ​

Electric controls. 

Enjoy a modern and elegant atmosphere in the new BMW iX3 thanks to sophisticated details, such as the discrete BMW iX3 emblem in the centre console. What’s more, the instrument cluster and Control Display have been designed specifically for electric driving. ​​

New Aero Wheels.

Impressive 20” Aero Wheels are available in Jet Black. They are 15% lighter and 5% less drag than previous aerodynamic BMW Wheels.

BMW i Kidney Grille.

Distinguish yourself with the stunning BMW I kidney grille, which comes in a high-gloss black finish and a mesh-like structure with a horizontal pattern.​

Exclusive Trim.

The presence of the BMW I can be seen through the elegant and exclusive set of blue accent trims. These are found on the updated kidney grille and rear diffuser.

POWERING FORWARD.

The 5th Generation BMW eDrive found in the first-ever BMW iX3 delivers sensational performance. Instantly noticeable for drivers is the maximum torque achieved from a standing start – delivering spontaneous and uninterrupted acceleration. The eDrive system enhancements bring the electric motor, electronic systems and transmission into one central unit. This reduces space and weight, and maximises Efficient Dynamics. What’s more, the repositioned battery now offers greater interior space, taking your comfort levels to supreme heights.​

Adaptive Suspension.

With a choice of COMFORT settings and PORT programmes, adaptive suspension allows you to adjust the damper characteristics to suit any given driving situation.

Enhanced performance.

​The new integrated drive unit, which combines electric motor, transmission and power electronics into an aluminium housing, improves the power to weight ratio by about 30%.​

New lithium-ion battery.

With specially developed lithium-ion storage cells, the new high-voltage battery powers the electric motor with amazing speed and efficiency.

HOW TO CHARGE?

Charging at home.

Thanks to the BO Pulse wallbox, BMW drivers can charge their electric vehicles up faster than a conventional 3-pin socket and from the comfort of their home.

Connected Charging.

With Connected Charging digital service, the BMW iX3 points you in the nearest public charging stations on your route and lets you know availability and the charging type offered.​

Charging cables.

The new BMW iX3 comes with two cables; a standard MW charging cable, which can plug into any conventional 3-pin socket; and a BMW AC Fast Charging Cable (Type 2).

Parking Assistant Plus.

Raise your confidence with Parking Assistant Plus, which comes as a standard feature on the BMW iX3. It offers a rear view camera, Active Park Distance Control. Parking and Reversing Assistant, Surround View System with Remote 3D View, and the new Driver Recorder feature.

Driving Assistant Professional.
