The new Touareg is a sporty, classy, and elegant premium SUV with a striking design and luxurious features. It is also practical for everyday use and powered by visionary hybrid technology.
Upon entering the Touareg, its stylish interior design immediately impresses. An elegant double seam runs from the dashboard to the door sill, and the high-quality, harmoniously coordinated materials create a welcoming atmosphere right away.
The Touareg's panoramic sunroof is massive, measuring almost the entire length of the roof. It offers passengers in both the front and rear seats virtually unrestricted views of the sky. The front half of the roof opens at the press of a button, or you can fully open the sunroof to let in even more fresh air.
The Keyless Access comfort package makes it easy to open and close the tailgate of the new Touareg, even when your hands are full. Simply move your foot under the rear bumper to trigger the sensor and the tailgate will open or close automatically. You can also close the tailgate electrically by pressing a button.
The optionally available DYNAUDIO Consequence sound system transforms the new Touareg into a mobile concert hall with 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound from 14 loudspeakers and a 730-watt power amplifier.
The optional head-up display projects important information, such as speed, driver assistance system messages, and navigation instructions, onto the windshield, allowing you to check this information without taking your eyes off the road. The projection is still clearly legible, even in direct sunlight.

Volkswagen fuel consumption and CO2 emissions

Choosing a larger alloy wheels than standard may result in increased fuel consumption, higher CO2 emissions and subsequently the Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) and BIK rates paid for company car drivers. In some instances, the 'On the Road' cost paid for the vehicle may increase as a result of the increased VED rate. The configurator tool highlights any changes to CO2, VED or Price when selecting optional alloy wheels."
