Thames Valley Venus Awards 2017 are coming to a town near you!

The Venus Awards – dubbed by Channel 4 as “The Working Women’s Oscars” – will be launching in association with Marshall Volkswagen their first ever Thames Valley Awards, commencing the seven-month cycle of events to discover the brightest female business stars in a region that spans Swindon, Oxford, Reading, High Wycombe and Bracknell.

The Awards celebrate the vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional, and national economy. In the Thames Valley Venus Awards 2017 nominees and applicants will be competing in up to 14 categories including among others Parfitt Cresswell Influential Woman, Grosvenor Casino Networker of the Year, Sandler Training Manager of the Year, Shirlaws Company of the Year, Sir John Madejski Entrepreneur of the Year, Reading University Inspirational Woman, Jack FM Musical Talent, NatWest New Business Award, Peninsular Small Business award. and the Reading Chronicle Business Mother of the Year.

The Awards are unique in that anyone can nominate a friend, client or family member.

The Thames Valley Awards 2017 have two perfect media partners sponsoring categories. Jack FM whose varied playlist attracts a large listening audience covering Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire is sponsoring the Musical Talent category, and The Reading Chronicle is sponsoring the ever-popular public vote category of Business Mother of the Year.

Nominations launch on Tuesday 1st November at Reading University and the Venus Awards journey will culminate in a glamorous Ceremony and Gala Dinner on 9th June 2017 at the Berkshire Conference Centre at the Madejski Stadium.
