Comfortable heated seat
To makes long rides fun, even in the cold: Five heating levels for the rider, and two heating levels for the passenger. And, using the hotkey, you can apply the last heating setting used with the press of a button.
New striking LED headlights
The optimised low-beam and high-beam headlights are also available with adaptive headlights to provide you with perfect illumination of the road ahead when leaning and make your ride safer.
Exclusive Option 719 Classic wheel
The optional tubeless spoked wheel is a real eye-catcher when it comes to craftsmanship and design. This wheel is 3 kg lighter than a spoked wheel with tubular tyres and emphasises the exclusivity of the R 1250 R.

ABS Pro for safe cornering and DTC as standard
This standard system detects your bike’s lean angle and reduces abrupt changes in steering force when braking rapidly, keeping you steadier and safer. For even more riding pleasure into corners – and out of them: Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) prevents the rear wheel from spinning if the grip conditions change, providing added stability.
Eco mode for more efficient riding
Being able to drift with ease and unwavering calm, on a powerful boxer: This is also a sign of versatility. With the R 1250 R's new Eco mode, you get maximum range every time you fill your tank. The TFT display shows you how efficient your riding style is. For maximum performance, you can switch to another riding mode, quick and easy, at any time. The standard Rain and Road riding modes now also include ABS Pro and DTC. Moreover, the optional Pro Dynamic and Dynamic Pro riding modes help you unleash the full potential of your R 1250 R.

Striking boxer roadster
The striking, newly designed LED headlights, with their iconic crescent-shaped LED light guides, give the R 1250 R that characteristic Roadster face.

Dynamic package
Perfect for when you've got the urge to move: The additional Dynamic and Dynamic Pro riding modes are geared for performance. Dynamic engine brake control prevents your rear wheel from slipping or skidding, giving you greater stability and control. What's more, the Shift Assistant Pro helps you shift up/down in almost all load and engine speed ranges without having to operate the clutch. And to ensure the perfect ride, Dynamic ESA offers you a wide range of settings options: from comfortable to crisp and sporty.
Comfort package
With the Comfort package, simply lean back and enjoy the ride. All that matters here is making your ride easy and enjoyable, before you even hop on. Thanks to Keyless Ride, you can start your bike with your key in your pocket. In addition, this package includes the Tyre Pressure Control (TPC) as well as heated handles to keep your fingers nice and warm. And if you want to make your bike really stand out, you can opt for the chrome exhaust system or the chrome manifold.
Tour package
Maybe just a little farther? The Tour package makes long rides comfortable. And, of course, this package includes a holder for a navigation device as well as cruise control. And the centre stand keeps your bike steady and secure, even with heavy bags hanging on both case holders.
