What is Vehicle-to-Load technology?

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) allows energy stored within your BYD's high-voltage battery to be used to power external electrical devices.

Using a dedicated V2L adapter, your vehicle can provide electricity directly from the battery to compatible appliances, offering a convenient source of power away from home or the workplace.

Examples of what you could power:

  • Electric cool boxes
  • Laptops and tablets
  • Camping equipment
  • Coffee machines and kettles
  • Portable televisions
  • Electric bikes
  • Lighting systems
  • Small power tools
  • Outdoor entertainment systems
