New Car Warranty

Your Honda is protected for three years (and some parts even longer) from the start date shown on your Warranty Certificate. During this period, we’ll repair or replace any material or manufacturing defects free of charge, subject to Warranty Terms and Conditions.

Specific Coverage

Exhaust System Corrosion – 5 Years
Protection against perforation caused by corrosion on any part of the exhaust, excluding heat shields and the internal structure of the catalytic converter.

Surface Corrosion – 3 Years
All visible painted surfaces are covered, provided the corrosion wasn’t caused by bird lime or neglect.

Structural Corrosion – 12 Years
Coverage for corrosion affecting the inside and outside of your Honda’s body panels.

Chassis Corrosion – 10 Years
Includes perforation caused by corrosion of suspension arms, beams, front suspension cross member, drive shafts, brake lines, fuel lines, and steel fuel tank.

Integrated Motor Assist (IMA)

Your IMA system is covered for material and manufacturing defects:

• 8 years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) for 03YM to 10YM models.
• 5 years or 90,000 miles (whichever comes first) for 11YM onwards Civic Hybrid, CR-Z, Insight, Jazz, and CR-V Hybrid.

All new Honda cars come with a standard 3-year warranty. With Honda's new Service Activated Warranty, your warranty cover can be extended annually, for up to 8 years or 100,00 miles (whichever comes first).*

To maintain your warranty after the initial 3-year period, simply service your vehicle in line with Honda recommended service schedule at any Marshall Honda store.
