Our optional Maintenance Cover is available for customers to take out at the start of their contract for a fixed monthly cost. This enables you to spread the cost of routine maintenance over the term of the contract, helping you to avoid unexpected surprises and outlay.

  • On a Contract Hire maintained over 48 months, 10,000 mile per annum, Payment Profile 6+47, the maintenance element works out to be only £21.19 per month and offers a host of benefits

Our Maintenance product could takes the hassle out of managing vehicle maintenance and can provide cost savings for our customers. Details of the key features of our product, including both the benefits and limitations, are provided on this page.

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH ROUTINE SERVICE AND REPAIR?

  • Routine Service in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Mechanical repairs (non-accident related) and MOT tests as required by current legislation
  • The franchised Retailer will offer collection and delivery subject to availability and participation
  • Detailed list of all repairs carried out upon request

What’s not included:

  • Consumables such as oil, windscreen washer fluid, or AdBlue, unless required as part of the manufacturer’s service schedule
  • Replacement of damaged, missing or stolen items
  • Repair of accident damage or vehicle abuse
  • Consequential wear/damage to covered parts that have failed due to lack of/irregular maintenance/ servicing of vehicle. Including diesel particulate filters (DPF filters) on diesel vehicles not operated as per the manufacturers guidelines
  • Paintwork and body damage
  • Repairs or replacement parts required due to driver abuse/misuse or induced faults (e.g. mis-fuelling)
  • Sat Nav/Connectivity updates
  • Glass repair

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH TYRES?

  • Provided at locations across the UK via a mobile service
  • Replacement of tyres with a tread depth of 2mm or less, puncture repairs, or tyres with side-wall damage, provided our preferred supplier is used
  • Premium-branded tyres

What’s not included:

  • Replacement due to damage from a road traffic accident
  • Replacement due to theft
  • Replacement due to malicious damage or vandalism
  • Replacement due to an insurance claim or if fraud is suspected
  • Replacement due to driver misuse or abuse
  • Replacement with greater than 2mm of tread remaining

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH BREAKDOWN ASSISTANCE?

  • Support provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
  • Roadside assistance from the driver’s home, workplace or during journey
  • AA manages recovery process, including referral to other breakdown provider if covered under manufacturer warranty
  • Average attendance time of 45 mins and 80% of vehicles repaired at roadside minimising time off the road
  • European cover available subject to pre-arrangement with the AA

What’s not included:

Non-mechanical, driver induced breakdowns including but not limited to:

  • Running out of fuel or charge will incur additional cost
  • Lost keys or keys locked in car
  • Flat battery due to lights left on
  • Wheel change when spare wheel is not available
  • Second call outs for a flat battery when the battery has previously been condemned by a breakdown patrol
  • Returning your vehicle to you

In addition to the benefits above, we can also provide replacement glass. The cost is not included within the maintenance package and is charged for separately as and when the service is used.
