Successfully completing its maiden voyage in a real-world setting, the Jaguar I-PACE has graced the streets of London’s Olympic Park; the perfect showcase for a concept-come-reality.
The I-PACE production model will be officially unveiled at the end of the year, with customers receiving their highly-anticipated orders in the latter half of 2018. The concept vehicle has, however, offered a fair taste of what’s to come for the main event; true sporting aesthetics and gallant performance in one sublime electric SUV, offering an extremely clean sprint to 60 mph in just 4 seconds.
Both power and practicality seamlessly intertwine within the I-PACE, offering over 500km of driving from the 90kWh lithium-ion battery; an 80% charge can be obtained in a mere 90 minutes, using 50kW DC charging. Supporting 400PS and 700Nm of torque, as well as impeccable all-wheel drive road handing, the I-PACE promises to revolutionise the landscape of electric motoring.
