The production-ready Land Rover Discovery SVX has been unleashed at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The first Land Rover to bear the ‘SVX’ title, the new model raises the bar on performance, as well as offering previously unseen all-terrain capability.

Featuring a 525hp 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol powertrain, the Discovery SVX takes pride in being bigger and better than ever before. More ground clearance, body and suspension lifts, larger wheel articulation, increased diameter all-terrain tyres, Terrain Response 2 system, Active Roll Control and a rear-mounted winch are all part of the expanded package. Quintessentially Land Rover, the Discovery SVX takes the brand’s hallmarks and moves them to new levels of capability.

Equipped with a clean 300hp four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine, boasting 400Nm of torque and CO2 emissions of 222g/km, the Discovery SVX is smart about strength. In addition, an interactive driver display and increased connectivity bring brains to brawn.
