Mercedes-Benz UK put the spotlight on AMG during its 50th birthday

With 50 show-stopping years under their wheels, Mercedes-Benz Cars UK celebrated half a century of AMG at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The AMG GT Concept was finally unveiled to its enthralled UK audience, while both modern and classic AMGs took the challenge to climb the notorious Goodwood Hill.

Not only that, but Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport driver Valtteri Bottas put the F1 W05 Hybrid through its paces in front of a packed audience, truly showing off how far AMG has travelled in the past 50 years and, more excitingly, what we can expect from the future of the brand.

This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed entertained over 150,000 guests from across the globe when it took to the stands between the 29^th of June and the 2^nd of July. We can’t wait for next year!
