The new Mercedes-Benz GLE is more comfortable, more spacious and more technologically advanced than ever before.
Exterior styling is powerful and assured, with striking new design elements including an octagonal SUV radiator grille and chrome-plated underguards front and rear. In profile, the new GLE retains thedesign characteristics of its predecessors while the large wheels emphasise its all-terrain credentials. New-look headlamps and tail lamps create a distinctive lighting signature, day and night.
The GLE’s rugged side is reflected in the cabin, where classic 4x4 elements such as grab handles on the centre console are contrasted with elegant, ergonomic design and luxurious materials. Thanks to the car’s longer wheelbase, the interior offers increased space too, especially for rear-seat passengers, with options including a third row of seats.
Meanwhile, a wealth of cutting-edge technology includes the latest version of our MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, a widescreen display featuring two 12.3” screens, one of which is a touchscreen, and a next-generation Head-up Display.
For maximum safety, comfort and convenience, the GLE also features an array of advanced driver assistance systems, including new Active Tailback Assist. This intelligent system recognises tailbacks up ahead and uses autonomous braking to slow the car to an appropriate speed. It then actively supports you in stop-and-go traffic, reducing your workload, and even facilitates access for the emergency services by steering you to one side of your lane.
