The Ford Tourneo Custom Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) is purpose-built to help transport passengers more efficiently than ever. Smart, hybrid technology helps keep emissions at a minimum, whilst intelligent design creates a refined and sophisticated interior for everyone to enjoy.
The New Ford Tourneo Custom Plug-in Hybrid has two sources of power to help your passengers get where they need to be more efficiently than ever. An advanced electric powertrain enables you to complete shorter trips with zero emissions. On Longer journeys the multiple award-winning 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine kicks in to ensure you can go as far as you want. It’s technology designed to maximise efficiency without compromising on the reliability and flexibility you expect in a Tourneo.
The Plug-in Hybrid can be charged anywhere you have access to the mains. And once fully charged, you can drive over 30 miles (50 km) using electric power alone. That’s enough to complete most short city trips without using any fuel. When you’re low on power, the engine not only extends the range, but helps recharge the battery too. The Tourneo also uses smart self-charging technology, such as regenerative braking, to send power back to the electric motor. Once sufficiently charged, you can switch back to electric only, helping you save money and reduce pollution.
The New Tourneo Custom Plug-in Hybrid maximises efficiency without compromising interior space, comfort or flexibility. The rear seats can be moved into a variety of configurations to maximise leg room or luggage space. You can even create a conference-style seating arrangement for when your passengers need some space to talk. Premium fabrics throughout deliver exceptional levels of comfort, wherever you’re sitting.
