With its 510hp, 650 Nm of torque and a cutting-edge soft top roof, the new BMW M4 Competition Convertible with M xDrive is taking the joy of exploring to a whole new level. Driving dynamics and design features.

The BMW M4 Competition Convertible with M xDrive offers inspiring agility and impressive capabilities in every mile of your journey. It brings together a muscular 510 hp, a high-performance BMW M TwinPower Turbo engine, and a wealth of powertrain and suspension technologies inspired by motorsport. Combined with the M xDrive all-wheel drive system with Active M Differential, this high-end convertible truly embodies the essence of M.

This confidence is also found in the design, inside and out. The continuous black sills and the diffuser with the distinctive twin tailpipes are a nod to its motor racing connection, which can also be felt with the carbon highlights of the optional M Carbon exterior package. As expected, the interior has a driver-oriented design with immersive M seats in Merino leather as standard with M seat belts, seat ventilation and air collars. Add to this the mood lighting and Harman Kardon surround sound system, and you have a truly amazing atmosphere.

High-performance engine.

The BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features superior power delivery and the unmistakable M engine sound. The two turbochargers, a direct high precision injection, and the fully variable valve control (amongst other high-performance elements) come together perfectly to deliver outstanding performance, everytime.

M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.

The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic offers several shifting options: athletic, comfortable and fuel efficien. You can shift manually using the gear lever or the gearshift paddles, or select one of three automatic programmes using Drivelogic.

M xDrive.

With a choice of 4WD, 4WD Sport and - in DSC-off mode - 2WD, BMW M xDrive with Active M differential delivers maximum traction and driving dynamics for both everyday driving at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive.

M Carbon ceramic brake.

With the optional M carbon ceramic brake, the use of braking power is more direct, corrosion-free, and even more heat-resistant. It also contributes to weight savings, which has a positive effect on agility, dynamics and acceleration. Available with callipers in Gold matt with M lettering, there are plenty of reasons to stare at this masterpiece.

Front Design.

The BMW M4 Competition Convertible with M xDrive leads with an athletic yet refined look. The frameless kidney grille, which includes a model logo, typical M double louvres and horizontal alignment, is complemented by large M-typical trapezoid air inlets. To round off the look, stylish and slender Shadowline headlights taper diagonally in towards the kidney grille.

M Carbon bucket seats.

With illuminated M4 logo, the optional M Carbon bucket seat brings together racing character with M Sport seat functionality. Its contouring offers perfect side support and excellent long distance comfort. It is compatible with multipoint harnesses and therefore fully suitable for racing.

Side profile.

With the top open, the BMW M4 Competition Convertible with M xDrive is a beautiful sight. The elegant silhouette is elevated by M-specific design elements such as the M gills and the M exterior mirrors. Adding to its allure are track-inspired details such as the forged light alloy wheels with M Compound brakes and the black sill.

Soft top roof.

At the push of a button, the anthracite soft top roof opens and closes in approximately 18 seconds. This can be done even while driving at speeds of up to 32mph. On top of its stylish credentials, this high-quality soft top roof also offers excellent noise insulation.
