Requirements

Your checklist for Proactive Care services:

  • Active BMW ConnectedDrive account for your BMW
  • A vehicle assigned to your BMW ID, either in the My BMW app or on the My BMW portal
  • Your personal data registered under your BMW ID, with your current phone number, email address, and preferred BMW Service Partner

To enable us to contact you, please consent to the Privacy Policy in the vehicle, and communication from your BMW Service Partner or BMW AG. To make contact even easier, simply enable push notifications in the My BMW app.


How it works

Sensors in the vehicle detect service requirements or possible faults at an early stage and transmit them to BMW. We will then proactively contact you via the My BMW app, directly in the vehicle or via email. In urgent cases, you will receive a phone call.



OPTIMUM SUPPORT EVERY DAY.

Very busy people might occasionally forget their routine service. We will remind you! If a brake service is due, you'll receive a notification from us, so that you can arrange a service at your convenience. If you break down or are in an accident, you'll get fast, expert support from our BMW Roadside Assistance team.

Getting in touch.

We will contact you either via the My BMW app, by email or send a message directly to your vehicle. In urgent cases, you will receive a phone call.

Service appointment.

We will suggest available dates and it is up to you to decide when you'd like to come for a service.

Status.

So, you've handed your vehicle over to the workshop? We'll keep you updated on the progress of the service and the resulting cost.

Drop-off or pick-up.

No time to drop off or pick up your vehicle? We'll take care of it - we'll pick it up from your home if you wish, and return it after servicing.

MY BMW APP.

It's easy to get started in the world of BMW Service with Proactive Care. The My BMW app informs you when a service is due, the likely cost, and the progress of the service. Whether you want to check the status of the brake fluid or arrange a repair appointment online: the My BMW app is the digital link to your BMW and our services.

BMW BRAKE SERVICE.

Have your vehicle's sensors reported that your brakes need a service? We will check the brake system, including brake discs, pads and brake fluid, and make sure that everything is repaired and in proper working order.

BMW ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.

Our service promise in every situation: We are proactive and will be there for you in the event of an accident or breakdown. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
