We are teaming up with Cambridge United Foundation to help drive a key focus on Men’s Health, which will run between 11am – 3pm at the Cledara Abbey Stadium.
To support this event, we’ll be offering visitors the opportunity to test drive our dynamic electric range direct from the stadium car park, including the Ford Explorer, Capri, Puma Gen E, Mustang Mach-E and E-Transit, with a donation being made to the Foundation for every test drive completed. All we ask is that you bring your driving licence and provide your national insurance number.

In terms of the day, there will be a wide range of local partners in attendance, providing resources and support for men, and we will be offering test drives from the location with the
Men, on average, live shorter lives than women. They are more likely to lead unhealthy lifestyles, and men typically put off engaging with health support services. Fortunately, men are increasingly taking better care of their physical and mental health, which is where this event seeks to provide a wide range of resources to encourage better lifestyle choices.
In addition to the stalls, which will be available for conversations and providing you with resources, there will be a number of practical opportunities, and workshops/demonstrations available on the day.
Health Checks will be available on the day, provided by NHS Healthy You. There are a limited number of spaces for the health checks, due to the time each examination will take – therefore you need to book an appointment in advance. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Cooking Demonstrations will be taking place at 12:30pm and 2:00pm in the Layrd Lounge. These demonstrations are aimed at educating people with limited cooking understanding, and providing advice on how to cook healthy meals that taste good! You will also be able to taste the food that is being cooked in the demo, so do come and enjoy these opportunities.
Well-being. The Foundation will also be hosting an Introduction to Meditation workshop, we will be running one of the Foundation’s Strength and Balance classes, and Introduction to Stargazing, and a CPR Workshop. The schedule of these events can be found below in the listed schedule.
There will be free parking available, in the main car park at Cambridge United, which can be accessed via Cut Throat Lane, turning off Newmarket Road.
The event is completely free to attend, and you can come along for as little or as long as you like. All stalls, workshops, and activities are free of charge.
