Breaking the speed limit should always be the last of a road user’s intentions. However, thanks to new rules which are to be introduced this week, the cost involved with being caught speeding is to dramatically increase.
Drivers who choose to travel above the legal speed limit could be slapped with a fine worth up to 175% of their weekly wage; a consequence which many would regard as being justified in comparison to the dire results of driving too fast.
