The i20 Coupé builds upon the already striking look of the standard hatchback and sharpens up the style even more. This three-door supermini possesses a low ride height, an assertive stance and 16-inch alloy wheels, all helping to make it quite the head-turner.
The i20 Coupé delivers value for money when purchased new. When bought pre-owned from Marshall, it represents a genuine bargain, particularly since it offers fuel-efficient motoring too.
The vehicle’s five-seat cabin provides a comfortable and serene environment for the traveller, thanks to supportive seats and a good sound-insulation. All models feature air conditioning too, which helps to maintain an agreeable in-cabin climate. Despite its coupé designation, this three-door car manages to make room for 311-litre boot space. With 60/40 split-folding rears seats flipped, luggage capacity expands to as much as 986 litres.
The i20 Coupé is powered by a 1.0-litre or 1.2-litre petrol engine, with power outputs of 83bhp or 99bhp. The latter delivers 0-60mph in approximately 10.5 seconds, while returning as much as 61.4mpg and a 107g/km CO2 emission figure.
The vehicle comes with plenty of driver aids and passive safety features to help keep everyone on board as secure as possible. For instance, there are two ISOFIX anchor points provided for smaller passengers, as well as six airbags. Hill-start Assist and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System feature too, the former preventing uncontrolled rolling when the car’s engine is started on a slope. The latter, meanwhile, alerts the driver if there is any significant fluctuation to tyre air pressure.
