The Velar is the fourth incarnation of the Range Rover dynasty, permeating the brand’s sublime DNA to bridge the gap between the Range Rover Sport and Evoque. Transcending all known levels of opulence and elegance, the Velar promises to have its own unique identity; made of sustainable materials and the finest Land Rover technology, the Velar will not only take you to the extra mile, but do so with unrivalled style and composure.
A homage to the Range Rover prototypes of the 1960s, the Velar is an echo of the past which will reach to the future. The namesake of 26 pre-production Range Rovers which engineers wished to keep under wraps, ‘Velar’ is a take on the Latin ‘Velare’ – meaning to veil or cover.
Those wishing to look beneath the curtain don’t have long to wait; the Range Rover Velar will make its international debut on the 1st of March 2017.
