
Marshall Motor Group is delighted to announce a new partnership with Changan UK, a subsidiary of the global car manufacturer and pioneer in sustainable mobility. Changan is one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, this alliance further strengthening our commitment to providing customer access to innovative, technology-led vehicles.
The partnership will initially see Marshall represent Changan in Braintree, Essex, offering customers access to the brand’s growing range of advanced electric and electrified vehicles, supported by expert sales and aftersales services.
Changan is one of China’s leading automotive groups, with a global heritage spanning more than four decades and annual vehicle sales exceeding 2.9 million units. The company has established a strong international presence through extensive research and development (R&D) operations, including a long-standing engineering and R&D centre in Birmingham, UK.
The brand officially entered the UK market for vehicle sales in September 2025 by introducing the all-electric Changan DEEPAL S07 SUV, which signalled their ambition to become a major force in the new energy vehicle sector. Designed with European customers in mind, Changan’s products combine advanced technology, contemporary design and a strong focus on quality, safety and value.

The name Changan (长安) translates from classical Chinese as "Perpetual Peace" or "Lasting Safety".
