The Land Rover Freelander was first introduced in 1997 as a compact but capable family off-roader. In 2006 the Freelander 2 debuted to critical acclaim and was a hit amongst drivers. The second generation of Freelander is a more refined and luxuriously packaged vehicle than its predecessor, while at the same time remaining true to the core customer base, who needed safe, efficient and reliable family transportation across a variety of terrains.
The Freelander is, as you would expect, loaded with Land Rover's engineering, technology and high build quality. From impressive features like the terrain response off-road driving system, that automatically adjusts your vehicle's drivetrain and suspension settings, to high-end interior appointments like an Alpine 14-speaker audio system and seven-inch touchscreen navigation, the Freelander doesn't compromise on quality or luxury.
