Offering many features only found in larger trucks, and precisely configurable for your application, the Atego offers much more – including a factory built diesel-electric hybrid model. The Atego is not only beneficial to the operator and driver, but also to the environment.
When a sleeper cab is specified, three large storage compartments are fitted under the bed which provide around 300L of additional space – useful for holding tools, a change of clothes or any other articles needed for the trip.
Whatever you need to move, the Atego offers advantages in manoeuvrability, economy, durability and comfort. From 7.5t to 16t, the Atego combines economical BlueTec® 5 engines with the standard Motor Start-Stop system to reduce fuel consumption, noise and wear. A small footprint and excellent steering lock make the Atego precise and agile when space gets tight. In addition, for customers that want to show the ultimate in environmental awareness, a factory built Atego BlueTec® Hybrid is available. The spacious cab provides comfort for the crew and intelligent storage, whilst the high quality materials are hard wearing.
With outstanding manoeuvrability, versatile engines and a comfortable working environment, the Atego is designed to deliver for the construction industry. A durable driveline provides flexible power without compromising fuel efficiency and, with Euro 5 or EEV emissions, has environmental credentials to match. Fuel efficiency is enhanced with Motor Start-Stop, fitted as standard across the range*. From 7.5t to 16t, the spacious cab provides comfort for the crew and intelligent storage, whilst the high quality materials are hard wearing.
The Atego's BlueTec® 5 engines stand for high torque, fuel economy and longevity; they truly are engines made for the long run. The range of inline engines include 4.25L and 4.8L 4-cylinder engines and 6.4L and 7.2L 6-cylinder units, offering powers from 115 kW (160 ps) to 210 kW (290 ps).
If Euro V is not environmentally friendly enough, the Atego is available to meet the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally Friendly Vehicle) emission standard.
