The new S-Class Coupé and the new S-Class Cabriolet have been unveiled, enjoying the same upgrades that have recently graced the saloon.

New and extended driving assistance systems make driving an S-Class Coupé or Cabriolet even more relaxing than ever, with increasingly autonomous offerings. DISTRONIC and Active Steering Assist make safe distances simple to attain, with speeds automatically adjusted ahead of bends, junctions and roundabouts. In addition, a new incarnation of steering wheel includes Touch Control Buttons, reacting to swipe motions and allow complete control of the all-new instrument cluster and infotainment system, without distraction.

ENERGIZING comfort control is a new optional extra, offering a customisable ambience including fragrance, seating, lighting and heating. Ten-minute programs can be programmed to run, including backing music, for an unparalleled sensory experience.

The latest infotainment technology is also available with COMMAND Online and seamless smartphone integration, as well as innovative OLED tail lamps at the rear.

Under the hood, a new V8 biturbo engine features in the S 560 Coupé, with a combined fuel consumption of 8.0 l/100 km and combined CO2 emissions of 183 g/km. For the S 560 Cabriolet, combined fuel consumption runs at 8.7 l/100 km, with combined CO2 emissions of 199 g/km. Brilliantly capable, yet expertly frugal.
