The new Mercedes-Benz GLA has been unleashed, showing off key values of power, multi-terrain road handling and signature opulence.
The range is comprised of three petrol engines; the GLA 200, GLA 250 4MATIC and Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC. Power outputs span from 156 hp to a gallant 381 hp; meanwhile, users of the GLA 200 d 4MATIC and GLA 220d 4MATIC can also benefit from a 2.1-litre diesel engine, capable of 136 hp and 177 hp respectively.
Available in a SE, Sport or AGM Line trim, there are a host of customisation options to truly make the new GLA your own.
The SE trim features Keyless-GO starting function, Apple CarPlay, a reversing camera and off-road comfort suspension; for a further £330, a 360° camera can be added into the mix, allowing for monitoring of the car’s immediate surroundings and unparalleled ease of manoeuvring.
For £1,695, you can up the ante with a Premium package; Garmin satellite navigation, parking pilot and LED high performance headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist are a welcome addition to the standard kit.
The GLA WhiteArt Edition adds a fresh aesthetic element to the model line, featuring striking 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with a high-shine finish, black leather upholstery with white and crystal grey stripes, as well as black floor mats with exclusive ‘EDITION’ lettering.
To turn even more heads, one can opt for the arresting Yellow Night Edition. Featuring the AMG aerodynamics package, AMG night package, 20-inch AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels with yellow rims, bodystyling with additional yellow highlights and cosmos black metallic paint, it’s a combination you won’t forget.
