Adding further variety to the E-Class Estate and GLC Coupe ranges, a new-line up of engines are to deliver an impressive array of power and efficiency options.
The E 200 d, E 350 d and E 43 have now been added to the E-Class Estate catalogue, with the E 220 d Saloon to benefit from 4MATIC for the very first time. The 200 d is the latest 2.0-litre engine to be included with the E-Class, with an output of 150 hp and CO2 emissions of just 109 g/km. The 3.0-litre E 350 d packs a punch with 258 hp, alongside slim emissions of 140 g/km, while the 4MATIC 220 d boasts dynamic 4-wheel drive and a respectable acceleration of 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds. All E-Class engines feature 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, with the E 43 including dramatically decreased shift time.
For extra versatility, all E-Class estate models can now be ordered with an additional folding bench seat in the boot – ideal for younger passengers under 115cm in height, with the option to stow away the seat when not in use.
The GLC Coupe will now be available in a gutsy V6 3.0-litre diesel variant, producing 258 hp; meanwhile, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe will enjoy a new bi-turbo 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine which produces 367 hp, sprinting from 0-62 mph in a mere 4.9 seconds, with an electronically-governed top speed of 155 mph.
