Travel Assist

Travel Assist integrates several systems and functions. When all these features are interconnected, the car can make driving a lot easier and increase travelling comfort. Once activated Travel Assist can automatically stop and restart, keep the car in lane, follow other vehicles in traffic or show the surrounding traffic on a display in front of you.

Rear-view camera

Providing you with comfort and orientation during a parking procedure, the rear-view camera uses a camera located on the tailgate handle. Working with the infotainment screen, the system shows the space behind the car and indicates dynamic guidelines, based on the vehicle width.

Front Assist with Collision Avoidance Assist

Faced with an unavoidable collision, Front Assist applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. It also performs an emergency stop if a pedestrian or cyclist attempts to cross the path of the car. The system also registers pedestrians or cyclists travelling in the same direction as the car and, in relation to these road users, uses the same warning and braking process as that applied to vehicles ahead. In a critical situation, where Front Assist intervenes by braking and the driver indicates they are taking evasive action by the way they move the steering wheel, Collision Avoidance Assist makes targeted interventions in the steering to help drive around the obstacle.
