The 15-millionth SKODA has rolled off the production line since joining forces with Volkswagen

Since becoming a part of the Volkswagen Group, SKODA has grown from strength to strength, as demonstrated by their latest production milestone.

Joining the Group in 1991, the internationally-renown Czech brand has developed from a local manufacturer to one that turns over a massive volume all over the globe. Constantly raising the bar, SKODA delivered 1,126,500 vehicles in 2016; a new record for the company.

The SKODA Octavia has proven itself a particular success story of the brand integration. The first new model to be released after the Volkswagen Group took SKODA under its wing, the Octavia is now the brand’s bestselling model, producing a whopping 5,618,597 units since its inception in 1996. Simply clever, simply incredible.
