In fact, 4 in 5 millennials believe that SUVs are gaining pace with regard to eco-consciousness; as a result, SUV registrations climbed up 21% in 2016, accounting for 1 in 4 new car sales.
Ford are, therefore, riding on the crest of this wave with an ambitious (but far from improbable) promise; that they will release a fully electric SUV by 2020, which will have an enviable range of 300 miles before needing a re-charge.
