PHEV delivers an output of 404hp, and CO2emissions from 64g/km, using the combination of an advanced 2.0 litre 300hp Si4 Ingenium petrol engine and a high capacity 85kW electric motor.
For optimal refinement, PHEV ensures a seamless transition between the petrol engine and electric motor.
Choose from Parallel Hybrid mode (the default driving mode) which combines petrol and electric drive or the full electric drive of EV (Electric Vehicle) mode.^
When it comes to capability and performance, PHEV is precise and uncompromising and is fully capable of handling off-road situations such as wading* and rock crawl.
PHEV combines our lightweight Ingenium engine and 85kW electric motor, together with a large 13 kWh capacity battery which is charged via an external source. In EV mode this delivers up to 31 miles from a full charge with zero CO2 tailpipe emissions.
Regenerative braking uses the electric motor to harvest kinetic energy whilst braking, converting it to electrical energy that is used to recharge the high voltage battery. This process begins the second you remove your foot from the accelerator, as well as during braking.
Our PHEV range can fully charge from either a domestic socket or an IEC connector*. It’s ideally suited to charge overnight, fully recharging in as little as 7.5 hours, enabling emissions free commuting for up to 31 miles. Installing and using a wall box will reduce charging times to just 2-5 hours*.
