If you choose to buy a Motability car with Marshall Motor Group, it's easy to arrange for adaptations to be made as part of the purchasing process. These adaptations can make driving easier and more comfortable for you, making sure you stay safe on the road at all times.

Adaptations available on the Motability Scheme aim to make the driving experience easier. Motability car adaptations can be categorised as:

• Driving – helping with steering, signalling and speed control. This varies from simple attachments to creating a control system bespoke for you.
• Stowage – helping you lift your wheelchair or scooter into your boot or onto your rooftop.
• Access – helping you transfer yourself easily between car and wheelchair with the help of a transfer plate.

There are a variety of Motability car adaptations available including, push/pull accelerators, hand controls, flip accelerators and brakes as well as hoists for wheelchairs and scooters.

Motability adaptations are arranged by us and fitted before you take delivery of the car. If you have them carried out at the start of the contract, disability adaptions are often free of charge.
