Mercedes-Benz has the last word in luxury design with the Maybach, a lavish limousine where opulence and the highest levels of elegance come as standard.
In order to create the Maybach, Mercedes-Benz started with the base of its own S-Class. This isn't just a high-spec S-Class though – far from it, as the Maybach has been extensively retooled to be higher, longer and even better to look at than any other car in Mercedes-Benz’ range. The Maybach immediately stands out thanks to its curved headlights, narrow striped grille and the freestanding three-pointed star that rests on the top of the bonnet – a nod to luxury cars of the past and the Maybach's status.
The interior of the Maybach has been designed to spoil all those who ride within it. The materials used are all of the highest quality, and the cabin can be trimmed in various different woods, leathers, stitch patterns and roof liners without adding to the final cost of the car. As well as stylish materials, the Maybach boasts a wide array of exceptionally luxurious features inside, such as heated seats with various massage functions, heated armrests, a Burmester 3D surround-sound system that uses no less than 24 speakers, and even a system to send scented air around the cabin. One of the few paid options is the First Class Cabin which, alongside a different choice of colours, replaces the three-seat bench in the rear with two individual seats
Unusually for a Mercedes-Benz, the new Mercedes-Benz Maybach only comes with the one engine. This being a high-end limousine however, it is clear that the German manufacturer has chosen the best model for the job. As such your Maybach will come equipped with a twin-turbo charged 6.0-litre V12 engine with a seven-speed automatic gearbox that moves up and down the gears with grace. Despite the size of its impressive V12 engine, the Maybach is exceptionally quiet, with Mercedes-Benz describing it as the world’s quietest production saloon.
The new Mercedes-Benz Maybach comes with an extensive range of safety features as standard, including Drive Pilot and Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Blind-spot Assist and others alongside a comprehensive set of airbags. The only extras that require extra money down are a head-up display, 360-degree camera and Night View Assist Plus.
