Underpinned by the desire to make car ownership more accessible, flexible, economical and efficient, Nissan have pioneered a brand new scheme for vehicle sharing – “NISSAN INTELLIGENT GET & GO MICRA”. This 100% digital platform will allow users to meet via social networking, with a profile-matching service to find your ideal car-sharing partner.
The service is tipped to open the market and allow more potential customers the chance to part-own a brand new Nissan Micra, with benefits perhaps greater than purchasing a vehicle for one’s sole use. Using a unique algorithm to match users with complimentary driving requirements, as well as being in a practical location, shared ownership becomes not only feasible, but a realistic solution to many obstacles which may deter customers from purchasing a new vehicle.
Launching in Paris later this year, the first cars borne from successful matches are expected to hit the road in April 2017. The NISSAN INTELLIGENT GET & GO MICRA service will use the new Nissan Micra Acenta 0.90 MT with trailblazing Bose Personal Audio; the package will also include insurance, servicing, access to the online matching tool, a smartphone app and enviable in-car technology. Those involved in the scheme will agree to an annual mileage limit of 15,000 km, while enjoying all of the freedom and financial benefits of shared car ownership.
